DRESS CODE RELEASED BY CBSE FOR NEET 2018
The National Eligibility cum
Entrance Test (NEET) 2018 is set to be conducted on Sunday, may 6 2018. The
admit card for NEET 2018 has been released on April 17 in this week by the exam
conducting body which is CBSE.
“The schedule will remain unaltered
even if the date of the test is declared a public holiday,” CBSE said in a
statement.
The duration of NEET UG 2018 will be three hours from 10 am to 1 pm. You
have to report earlier as given in your admit card,
As previous year there were
two batches (A and B) , i.e they have to enter at the time provided in their
Admit card. Batch - A was to be entered
at 7.30 a.m and Batch - B was to be entered at 8.30 AM, as they need to check
the individual candidate.
As Last year i.e of NEET 2017 , CBSE had to face flak when students were
asked to remove their headscarves etc. to seek entry into the exam halls, which
also led to protests.
NEET 2018: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), on Tuesday
released an important notice regarding the dress code for NEET 2018
examination. The board said that not adhering to the guidelines can land the
candidates into trouble and may even result in their candidature exam, getting
cancelled.
Candidates who are willing to appear in NEET 2018 must follow certain new rules and regulation as prescribed by the
exam conducting body ( CBSE ). The CBSE
has decided a strict pattern for dress in NEET examination.
THINGS TO BE CARRIED FOR EXAMINATION HALL :
The candidates will not be allowed to carry eatables or water bottles
inside the room.
The only things they can bring to
the examination hall are the admit card with a passport size photograph affixed
on it along with another photograph for attendance purposes.
All the candidates appearing in the NEET 2018 must make sure to adhere to
the guidelines prescribed by the CBSE. The exam will be held on 6th May 2018.

NEET 2018 Dress Code::
Candidates who are appearing the NEET 2018 , have to wear light color half
sleeves clothes not having big buttons, brooch/badge, flower etc. with
Salwar/Trouser.
For Male Candidate:
Candidate can wear light color clothes like Jeans, Pant, Shirt (half
sleeves only). The buttons of shirt should be medium size ( Should not be
big enough ) . The Kurta Payjama not allowed, Shoes are also not
allowed. Wear only sleepers or sandals.
For Female Candidate:
Candidate can wear Light clothes with half sleeves not having big buttons,
brooch/badge, flower etc. with Salwar/ Trouser, Slippers, sandals with low
heels are allowed. Shoes for the female candidate are also not allowed.
* NOTE : you can better understand from the below table.
* NOTE :: Candidates have to wear Slippers, sandals with low heels & not
the shoes.
* Note: If the candidate is wearing
the customary dress, then he/she need to report at
the allotted examination
centre latest by 8.30 AM on the day of examination.

Barred Items For NEET 2018
The candidates are not allowed to carry the following items inside the
examination centre under any circumstances. The candidates will be subjected to
extensive and compulsory frisking before entering the examination centre with
the help of highly sensitive metal detectors
1. Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of
papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Scale, Writing
Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner ,
compass box etc.
2. Any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones,
Microphone, Pager, Health Band etc.
3. Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap etc.
4. All ornaments like Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin, Chain/Necklace, Pendants,
Badge and Brooch etc.
5. Any Watch/Wrist Watch, Bracelet, Camera, etc.
6. Any metallic item.
7. Any eatable item opened or packed, water bottle etc are not allowed .
8. Any other item which could be used for unfairmeans, for hiding
communication devices like camera, Bluetooth device etc.
9. Candidates must note that No arrangement will be made at the centres for
keeping any articles/items belonging to the candidates.
