' TOP IIT's INSTITUTION'S IN INDIA '

                                         

 In this modern era , called as Advanced era , which deals with invention's of new technology in the field of engineering as well as in medical field's.

For today's generation there is a need of institutes which should
have the all facilities .And the teaching quality should be of excellent quality. Hence there is a need of advanced level of engineering colleges .In the engineering colleges there are advanced institution's called IIT'S

The Indian Institutes of Technology  also called as the IITs are autonomous engineering institutions.


 These iit institution's  are governed by the rules and regulations that are laid down by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

This AICTE was established in the year  in 1945.
The iit's are a dream for every aspiring Indian engineer and scientist. The admissions in Iit's are carried out through an exam called joint entrance exam (JEE). 
This exam is conducted in two phases i.e
JEE MAINS & JEE ADVANCE
. Around 10 lakh candidates register for JEE Main exam and only top 2.5 lakh of these candidates in JEE Main qualify for JEE Advanced and compete for admission to IITs in the india.

1. IIT Madras (Chennai) :

Location : CHENNAI ( MADRAS) ,TAMIL NADU , INDIA

* IIT Madras was established in the year 1959 with the assistance from erstwhile west                  germany .

* IIT Madras  has become a top destination for today’s growing engineers,

2. IIT Bombay:

Location : area ( POWAI) ,MUMBAI, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA

* It was founded in the year 1958 and is the second oldest among the IITs.

* From the last 5 years, 75% of the top 100 ranks in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)        is choosen by IIT Bombay. It conducts India’s largest college festivals, which has                          participants coming in from all over the world. 

3. IIT Kharagpur :

Location : MEDINAPUR DISTRICT , WEST-BENGAL ,INDIA

* It was established in the year 1951.


*  IIT Kharagpur  is the largest among all the iit institution's in India ,as it is spread across           2100 acres.

4. IIT Delhi:

Location ; DELHI , INDIA

* Established in the year 1961.

* As it is situated in the capital city of India, it ensures that the students get the best of everything and go away with an enriching experience.

5. IIT Kanpur:

Location ;  KALYANPUR (village) ,KANPUR DISTRICT, UTTAR PRADESH ,INDIA

* It was established around 57 years back in history.

* An IIT aspirant should secure the top rank in the JEE Advanced Examination in order to get admission in IIT KANPUR.



6. IIT Guwahati:

Location :  TRANQUIL CITY ,GUWAHATI, ASSAM , INDIA.

* IIT GUWAHATI  was established in the year 1994. 

* The  beauty surrounding the campus of the college  makes the aspirants think full 
of joining IIT Guwahati with an excitement.


7. IIT Roorkee: 

Location : ROORKEE, UTTARAKHAND ,INDIA

* It was established in the year 1847.

* IIT ROORKEE is the oldest technical institution in the ASIAN CONTINENT.


8. IIT (BHU) Varanasi :  IIT( BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY )

Location ; BANARAS , UTTAR PRADESH , INDIA

* This was established in the year 1919.

* It has been recognised as CENTRE OF ADVANCED STUDIES by the UCG INDIA in the departments of Mining engineering, chemical engineering, electronic's engineering, metallurgical engineering.


9. IIT Indore :

Location : INDORE, MADHYA PRADESH , INDIA

* Established in the year 2009.

* University offer's the coaarses of  C.Sengineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, metallurgical engineering, civil engineering,material sciences.


10. IIT Hyderabad :

Location : SANGAREDDY DISTRICT, HYDERABAD , TELANGANA ( ANDRA PRADESH ) ,INDIA

* It was established in the year 2008.

* Foundation stone was laid by the honarable chair person SONIA GANDHI.


These were the TOP IIT'S in INDIA which were ranked according to the data release by the MoHRD in the year 2017.
